Renovation and improvement plan of vast parts of epochal structures of Gorgan is assigned to a subjective company which has a bad history in last plan (Tarh e Aftab-the sun project: As I mentioned in last article, during The sun project important part of epochal structures of Gorgandestroyed).in other hand, architecture experts have mentioned a lot of defects and problems for this plan that leads to destroying the remained parts of the epochal structures of Gorgan.

An unsuccessful contractor
Mohammad Qods Mofidi, senior expert of architecture talks to CHN:”Before, the sun project led to destroying historical structures of Sarkhaje street and now after 4 years it’s not a solid and homogen plan, yet.’
He also continues:”that’s heard that this plan has 27 houses where are not bought yet and probably this plan is debtor to municipality; in addition this plan has requested financial resources from the town council. In fact this plan could not implement its grantees yet and now wants destroy another part of epochal structures of Gorgan.”
Vicar of cultural heritage of Golesatan province (Hamid Omrani), is one of the guys who believes, which was implemented by this company (the contractor), was not a successful plan.
Hamid Omarani talks to CHN:”the sun project is pendent yet, unfortunately in the sun project, cultural heritage experts acquiesced so we missed around 5 hectares (13.355 acres) of epochal structures of Gorgan.
We do not have enough budgets
Omrani mentioned that asking for help from subjective companies was just because of cultural heritage organization has not enough budgets for repairing epochal structures. He also said:”due to limitation of our budgets, we can not do this plan alone; so we had to ask help from subjective companies. If we do not want to use from subjective assets like other countries, it is an obligation to cooperate all of the local institutes and organizations such as: governor generalship, municipality, house & urbanity organization and etc.
He emphasized that the most important goal is preservation of epochal structures of Gorgan. “Nevertheless we ought to use subjective resources for displacing 13000 persons who are living in epochal structures.”, Omrani said.
Which asset?!
But that’s observed that there is no asset and perchance this company (Contractor Company) has abandoned this plan after 4 years, due to lack of enough budget. Unofficial news narrates that last week this company asked for 60 billion IR from town council.
Valuable epochal structure
Qods mofidi talk about Renovation and improvement plan of epochal structure of Gorgan which leads to destroying national registered relics:”registering epochal structure of Gorgan as a national relic in 1931 means that necessity of preservation these structures was understood. This necessity also confirmed by all of the governments after Islamic republic revolution.”
I’m agreed with relieving and repairing, no destroying!
AsadAllah Matufi after blaming the contractor company of the sun Project continues:”what’s your (he refers to contractors of The sun project) goal from investing on this plan? If your goal is not economical revenue and that’s just serving the people, you should follow the patterns that other countries like Italy, used for renovation and relief of their epochal structures.
He explains about these methods and says:”In Italy and other ancient countries, they separate the historical to 2 parts; Incorrigible and corrigible parts. They convert corrigible (repairable) parts to Hotels, café and academies. So basic of the structure and historical architecture will be remained.”
This researcher who is supposed to publish a book about architecture of Esterabad soon, talks about trespasses on the sun project (Tarh e Aftab) that one of them is converting houses into trading centers!! Matufi emphasizes that he strongly believes in metamorphosis in epochal structure of Gorgan in a condition which does not lead to destroying.
Notwithstanding of opposition of wide spectra of students and experts body of cultural heritage organization and other reasons, there is a strange resistance for implementation of this plan by the current contractor. This is a resistance which leads to destroying great parts of epochal structure of Gorgan as a registered national relic. It should not been forgotten that epochal and ancient structures belong to all people of a country or even every one who lives on the earth planet.
